Okay, so I have not kept to my new year's resolutions. Here is an update:
1) Lose 20 lbs. Signed up on weightwatchers.com on 12/29/06 after becoming completely disgusted with the tire forming on my waistline and daughter asked if I was going to have a baby.
Okay, I DID join a gym (in the building where I work) and instead of spending lunch with co-workers I don't really care about, I have been going to the gym three times a week. I have lost 5 lbs. This is a major accomplishment. 15 more to go!
2) Write on my blog at least 1x per week I (I'm trying to set realistic goals)
This is my first post in over six weeks. Must work on this one.
3) Resolve issues with boss or find a new job (boss is lying bastard who cheated me out of 100k)
Headhunter sent me out on many interviews and I got an offer. Now I need to decide what to do. Still hate lying boss and it has become very uncomfortable for me. I can't "fake it."
4) Exercise at least 3x a week (even if this means walking your child to sleep at 8pm).
Yes, I am doing this!!! (Okay, so it was 2x last week and I am having desert twice today, but it's Valentine's Day!) My size 10 pants that I bought in desperation are very loose. Thank God I might have to throw them out!!!
5) Find time to volunteer with charity.
I went to the training session for The Make A Wish Foundation and found out that I was the only married person in the room. Tip to single men in LA - there were more pretty single women in that room than I have ever seen. Training sessions are on Saturday, too tough for me. I will go to their benefit dinner and make a donation.
6) Be nice to my husband for at least two days.
I tried. Will try harder.

Dear Xanax mom,
I am visiting your site because it is nearing midnight, I am supposed to travel to Florida for work/seeing inlaws tomorrow, and my son has developed a fever and sounds like darth vadar. He is one month older than your son. He went into the NICU when he was a day old (respiratory). My pediatrician makes me wait 2 hours, I switched to a family practitioner who may or may not be incompetent but he sees me instantly. My son is on pulmicort twice a day, and supposed to be on albuterol every 4 hours, but (is this just me) the albuterol makes the treatment 30 minutes and I can't do it. I can't I can't I can't.
So I am secretly using one of those canister deals for the albuterol. It is so fast. However, I honestly am not sure it helps.
My son is a "happy wheezer", so I often let things slide, thinking I'm helping him by challenging his immune system, right now I wish I had found him a good specialist when he was a month old. Do you know any good specialists?
Anyway, I did a technorati search for los angeles, asthma, toddler (something like that). And here I am.
You really should update more. :)
God I hope I don't have to go to the emergency room.
